I have been fortunate enough to practice real estate law in New York City and Nassau County for the past nine years or so. I don't have to tell you that during this time, most people somehow involved in real estate managed to make at least a decent living. Some did a lot better than that. As the market has slowed down considerably over the past year, I thought it would be a good idea to start posting about different ways that buyers and sellers can save on closing costs and also about other issues related to the closing process.
